Prior to embarking on his real estate career, Joaquin worked as an EMT and firefighter in Louisville. The transition from helping people in emergency situations to helping them achieve their life goals proved rewarding, and a bout with cancer at the beginning of his career was instrumental in shaping his approach to the business. “My battle with a life-threatening disease showed me that no matter how crazy or stressful a situation may seem, there is always a solution and a way to work it out. I learned to value the position I’m in and realize how lucky I am to be able to do what I love and to do it well. In his spare time, Joaquin and his girlfriend spend quality time with hiking and walking with their two Old English bulldogs. Fluent in Spanish, Joaquin enjoys reading, working out, traveling, staying current on investment trends and the evolving crypto space.
